I was afraid that it was too academic, kinda too much about philosophy, too little about living.

@ace, that's it, in a nutshell. :)

@anonymous, thanks for the encouragement. This weak yellow brain does get in the way sometimes. But I've been doing a good job beating it into submission with running. One of the things that makes philosophical writing so hard is that it has to point out of itself, into areas that it's ignorant of, unable to articulate. So, strangely, it often seems overly intellectual (or is overly intellectual) precisely because it is struggling, and failing to make the connection with a new and mute experience. That's my excuse anyhow.Jeff Edmondshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11840746835757479590noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1196651674832836865.post-33843737192976495052010-09-24T13:50:30.506-05:002010-09-24T13:50:30.506-05:00Crap I need to learn to spellCrap I need to learn to spellAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1196651674832836865.post-91259411124803273052010-09-24T13:50:00.453-05:002010-09-24T13:50:00.453-05:00Repeat after me "You will me as smooth as sil...Repeat after me "You will me as smooth as silk in your marathon" It will be a time for just "being" and not thinking.

Have a grat race!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1196651674832836865.post-78974361597154718982010-09-22T21:07:21.586-05:002010-09-22T21:07:21.586-05:00this post, while real long, is worth reading,
